This policy covers everything bought through this site. What applies to you depends on how the thing you bought is delivered, so there are three sections below. If you are not sure which one covers your purchase, write to us and we will tell you.
Your right to change your mind
If you live in the European Union, you have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. This right comes from Directive 2011/83/EU and, in Belgium, from Book VI of the Code of Economic Law. The 14 days run from the day the contract is concluded.
To use it, write to [email protected] within those 14 days and tell us what you bought and when. You do not have to give a reason.
Two things affect how it works in practice.
If you ask us to start straight away. Most of what we offer is available the moment you pay. At checkout we ask you to tick a box confirming that you want access to begin immediately and that you understand you are therefore giving up the 14-day withdrawal right. That box is a real choice and the wording says exactly what it means. Where you have ticked it and the material has been made available, the right no longer applies.
If you withdraw partway through something ongoing. Where you have asked us to begin and then withdraw within the 14 days, you pay for the part already delivered, in proportion to the whole. You are not charged for what you have not had.
1. Ongoing subscriptions
This covers anything billed on a repeating basis, such as the membership.
You are billed on the day you join, and again on the same date each period. Access opens straight away, which is why the box described above appears at checkout.
Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from your account. Sign in, click your name, then Settings, then Billing, and cancel there. You will not be billed again. Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Periods already paid for. We do not refund these. Nothing is locked in: cancel and you are not billed again.
2. Things that open the moment you pay
This covers anything where the material becomes available as soon as the payment goes through, such as a course, a recorded programme or a download.
The same box appears at checkout. Once access has opened, the purchase is not refundable. Where something is bought in instalments, the remaining instalments stay due.
If we withdraw the material, or it stops being available for reasons within our control, we will refund you fairly for what you have lost.
3. Things held live on a set date
This covers anything that happens at an arranged time, whether one to one or with a group, such as a private session, an online retreat or a workshop. A recording is often made available afterward, but what you are buying is the live occasion.
At checkout we ask you to tick a box confirming that you want it arranged and held as soon as a time is agreed, including within the next 14 days if that is when it falls, and that once it has taken place it has been delivered in full.
One to one. Cancel or move it more than 48 hours before the agreed time and there is no charge. Inside 48 hours, or if you do not come, the fee is not refunded.
Group events. Cancel more than 7 days before the start and we refund in full. Inside 7 days we do not refund, because places and preparation are settled by then. If you cannot attend, any recording provided afterward is still yours.
Once it has taken place, it has been delivered and is not refundable.
If we cancel or move something, you choose between another date and a full refund. If we cancel partway through something running over several sessions, we refund the part not delivered.
Where circumstances are genuinely exceptional we will always look at them, though any exception is at our discretion and none of this affects your rights under the law.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the original payment method. Your bank usually takes five to ten days to show it. Where a refund is due under the withdrawal right, we make it within 14 days of hearing from you.
If something goes wrong
Write to [email protected] from the address you used to buy, and we will reply within three working days. We would rather sort things out directly.
If we cannot resolve it and you live in the European Union, you can contact the consumer mediation service in Belgium (Service de Médiation pour le Consommateur, mediationconsommateur.be) or the consumer body in your own country. You may also bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.
